Simplifying Multi-Credit Card Management for Timely Payments and Maximizing Rewards
Kudo simplifies the chaos by bringing all your credit cards into one place—helping users stay on top of payments, avoid late fees, and never miss out on rewards.
I contributed to the end-to-end product design process—from product scoping and user flows to wireframes, prototyping, and final UI design.
The project involved designing a credit card management app that rewards users with exclusive perks and cashback for paying bills on time, while allowing them to manage multiple cards, track expenses, and monitor their credit score in one place.
Worked as the Solo UI/UX Designer, collaborating with a team of developers to design and deliver the product within a 3 weeks timeline.

Using multiple credit apps forces users to constantly switch between platforms to manage payments, track expenses, and monitor their overall credit status. This fragmented experience disrupts workflow, reduces clarity, and often leads to confusion, ultimately resulting in increased frustration and a less efficient financial management process.
Add and track all your credit cards with instant visibility into dues, unbilled balances, and offers.
Select your card and view the entire month’s activity instantly
Every payment you make adds more reward points to your account, helping you build value over time and get more out of your everyday spending.
Convert reward points directly into credit on your card
Client discussions, combined with user research, revealed that managing multiple credit cards often leads to missed payments—primarily due to ineffective and unclear reminder systems. The lack of a unified view and poor visibility into upcoming dues increases cognitive load, making it difficult for users to stay on top of their finances. As a result, the overall experience feels fragmented, confusing, and frustrating—often becoming repetitive and offering little sense of reward or tangible value.
My Observations
Managing multiple credit cards often leads to fragmented financial visibility, making it difficult to track spending, monitor due dates, and stay in control of overall expenses.
The absence of a reward system for timely credit card payments reduces user motivation, making on-time repayment feel unrewarding and less engaging despite its financial importance.
Reward points often feel abstract and underused; converting them into direct bill savings makes them tangible, reduces balances, and increases their real value.
During the initial phase, I collaborated closely with the client to identify gaps in the wireframe flow, recognizing the need for a simpler, more intuitive experience to reduce user confusion and increase engagement. This insight led to multiple iterations of the wireframes, refining the flow until we arrived at a clear and optimal solution.
The Overwhelmed Professional
Uses 3–5 credit cards across categories, needing a unified view of spending, dues, and limits, but struggles with multiple due dates, missed payment windows, and fragmented rewards.
The Reward Maximizer
Actively uses credit cards to maximize rewards and cashback across categories, seeking smart usage insights, but struggles with abstract rewards, poor visibility, and limited guidance on optimization.
The Financial Beginner
New to credit cards and focused on building a good score, but needs guidance on spending and repayments, while struggling with billing confusion, fear of debt, and overly complex apps.
The final screens present a comprehensive credit card tracking app designed to centralize all of a user’s credit cards into a single, unified interface. The solution enables users to easily monitor their finances with an at-a-glance overview of expenses, outstanding dues, and spending patterns across cards.
Key features include a streamlined dashboard for quick insights and a reward-driven system that incentivizes users by offering benefits for making timely and successful payments, ultimately encouraging better financial habits and improved control over credit usage.
The feedback we received has been overwhelmingly positive, with users reporting a much easier way to view and manage all their credit cards in one place. The centralized dashboard and clear layout have significantly improved how users track their finances without switching between multiple apps or platforms.
Users also highlighted the effectiveness of payment reminders, which help them stay on top of due dates and avoid missed payments. This feature has added a sense of reliability and control, making financial management more proactive rather than reactive.
A key aspect users truly appreciate is the at-a-glance overview of their overall credit health. Many mentioned that the app feels intuitive and reduces financial stress, giving them greater confidence and clarity in managing their credit usage.
Working on the Kudo app strengthened my ability to design with clarity by addressing key user pain points like fragmented credit tracking, low reward engagement, and financial confusion. It helped me translate complex problems into intuitive solutions through structured flows, unified dashboards, and meaningful features.
The project also reinforced the importance of rapid feedback and iteration, improving my ability to align user needs with business goals. Overall, it made me a more strategic, user-focused designer capable of simplifying complexity and delivering real value.
